Hotels.com currently has a 10% off coupon code for participating hotels when you spend a minimum of $150. Offer expires 12/31/2013 and travel must be completed by 6/30/2014. The code is valid on most bookings. It applies only on the subtotal and not on taxes and fees. Just type the promo code upon checkout to get the discount.

I can verify that you can “double dip” by first going through the Ultimate Rewards portal and earn 4x ultimate rewards (UR) points. I did this recently for a 2 night stay and received the full 4x points and 10% off. You should also earn an additional 2x UR points if you use a card like Chase Sapphire Preferred which gives 2x on travel.
Alternatively, you could go through Topcashback (not a referral link) to earn 6% cash back on Hotels.com. However, i have not tried this, so i can’t be 100% positive that you can stack the 6% back and the 10% promo code.
I was curious to see if you can “triple dip” by getting 2 nights credit to my Hotels.com Welcome Rewards account which gives 1 free night after booking 10 nights through Hotels.com. Unfortunately, I found out that you cannot triple dip. When I checked my account after completing my stay, I found that it said “bookings made using a discount code or a coupon are not eligible for Welcome Rewards (see below).
For what its worth, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Hotels.com. I’ve used them a few times in the past without any problems. In addition, they have a pretty good price matching policy which i’ve also used in the past with success. Although the code is valid till 12/31/2013, I am guessing that it could be pulled at any time.
